Innovate for Africa
Training and talent development
This is one of MIG’s commitments: to work with a skilled workforce coming from the countries of operations. MIG capitalizes on synergies with the ADS group, its parent company and its subsidiaries. The Diamniadio plant is also home to the Senegalese center of the Solar Academy of Solektra – a branch of ADS dedicated to solar solutions deployment – whose programs have been adapted to the needs of the operators who manufacture lamps. MIG has also designed an onboarding program to train newly recruited operators on its various assembly lines. Each of them is coached for two months by a more experienced supervisor. Africa also needs industrial talent – a challenge that MIG is ready to take up!
